the figure mr. craftsman was exhibited at the guild design fair in cape town 2015 and started a dialogue between ratzer and margaret woermann, the owner behind the heart work buisness in cape town, and when the opportunity arose a year later, raster held a freestyle embroidery workshop for the women working for the heartwork business. based on the idea of realizing their thoughts, the workshop was about embroidering with an open mind to inspire them to develop new expressions for ideas for products.
